Katherine Clark Lamkin

Katherine Clark Lamkin age 73 of Wirtz passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She retired from Department of Veteran Affairs as a Ward Clerk with several years of service and she was loved by everyone that may have crossed her path. She will be missed by all. Katherine was born on January 5, 1948 a daughter of the late William Robert, Sr. and Leona Bailey Clark. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James L. Caldwell; and a brother, William Robert "Bobby" Clark, Jr. She is survived by her sons, John Caldwell and Travis Caldwell (Brigette); her grandchildren, Kristen Caldwell, Seth Caldwell and Jamie Caldwell; brothers, Russell Clark, Pete Clark (Connie) and Matt Clark; her sisters, Marie Knoblock, Trixie Beatty (Al) and Wanda McMillian (Allan). She is also survived by many other family members and friends including her a special niece, Carrie McMillian. Graveside service 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Franklin Memorial Park with Pastor Ronnie Altice officiating. Her family will receive friends from 10 to 10:30 am Tuesday at Conner-Bowman Bowman Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
