Katherine H. Woods

Katherine Huston Woods, age 72 of Redwood passed away Friday, June 4, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Ercell Huston and husband Roy Woods. Surviving are her brother George G.W. Huston and wife Avis; nieces and nephew Annette and Mark Chamberlin, Donna and Donald Kelley, DeWayne and Angie Huston; great niece and nephews Heather Kelley, Brandon Kelley and Brittany, William Huston; great grand niece Mackenzie Kelley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Buren Woods, Ernest Woods, Harold and Virginia Woods, Jackie and Nancy Woods, Phyllis and Ronald Holley, Janet and Paul Stanaland, Garnet Woods, and Ronald Cooper. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County, 390 S. Main St., Rocky Mount, VA 24151. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 3:00 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will be receiving friends Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 140 Floyd Avenue, Rocky Mount, VA. (540)483-5533
