Kathleen Hannon age 63 of Bedford County passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022. Kathy was born February 7th 1959 in Forty-Fort, Pennsylvania. She graduated Davis & Elkins College, West Virginia, with a bachelor degree in Botany. She was a homemaker and science teacher at Toms River East High School in New Jersey. Kathy married her best friend, Edward Hannon, and celebrated 40 years of marriage together. They settled and started a family in New Jersey and retired on Smith Mountain Lake Virginia.
In addition to her parents, Terry and Phill, she was predeceased by her sister Donna Blaum.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her daughter, Erin and her husband Bill along with their two daughters Tenley and Aria; her son, Shawn and his wife Larisa along with their daughter River; her son; Brian and her daughter; Kayla, her brothers; Paul Blaum and his wife Ann along with their children Donna and Jack, Fredrick Blaum, Jim Blaum and his wife Laurie along with their children Matthew, Emily and Caitlin, John Blaum and his wife Maureen along with their daughters Sarah and Katie.
Kathy loved the outdoors, you could find her swimming, biking, running, hiking and gardening. She lived life to the fullest with a positive attitude no matter any of the challenges tossed her way. Please join us in celebrating her life at the Conner-Bowman Funeral Home and Crematory on May 28th 2022 at 11am.
