Kathy Ann Hitt

Kathy Ann Hitt, age 58 of Rocky Mount went home to with her Lord on Saturday, January 28, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hitt; parents, Fred and Louise Perkey; and sisters, Elvie, Judy and Debbie. She is survived by her son, Joseph Hitt and his girlfriend, Amanda; daughter Melisa Farthing and husband Robbie; six grandchildren, Joe, Jr., Gavin, Elizabeth and Sarah Hitt, Charlie and Wyatt Farthing; brothers, Danny and Wayne; sisters, Treva, Brenda and Donna; her companion, Brady; and many other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that you consider donations to help with final expenses to the funeral home. A celebration of Life service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at New Century Church, 4215 Melrose Avenue, NW, Roanoke, Virginia 24017 with Dr. Jay Owens officiating.
