Kim Bowles Johnson age 65 of Rocky Mount passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 in Lewis-Gale Hospital. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, accomplished business owner, proud Emory & Henry graduate, beloved teacher, irreplaceable friend, and the best mom the world has ever known. The most beautiful woman inside and out. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jeff Johnson; daughter, Emily Johnson; father, Edward Bowles; and mother, Mary Gilbert Bowles. She is survived by her daughters, Caitlin Johnson and husband, Justin Torbert, Lindsay Johnson; sister, Karen Overstreet; brother, Cabell Bowles. She is also survived by countless close friends and family members. Services will be private in the Chapel of Light Mausoleum at Mountain View Memorial Park, Boones Mill.
