Kristine Marie Torbert was born November 23, 1963, to Robert and Madeline Jenicek in Mount Clemens, Michigan. She was the eighth of 12 children. The family moved around a lot during her childhood, eventually settling in Littleton, Colorado, and then Bellevue, Washington. Kristine stayed in Bellevue and in 1985 gave birth to her daughter, Annie. While in Bellevue, Kristine worked as a dispatcher for the City of Bellevue and she enjoyed playing soccer, supporting her daughter's many extracurricular activities, and taking care of a household of pets.
Kristine moved to Virginia in 2007 where she met her husband Mark, and they married in 2009. Kristine worked as a dispatcher for Roanoke County. Her time in Virginia was filled with visiting with her neighbors and their farm animals, getting back into her artwork, trying to hunt, and going to Salem Red Sox games.
Kristine is survived by her husband Mark Torbert, daughter Annie Davison, numerous siblings and 3 step sons Justin Torbert, Joshua Torbert and Jacob Torbert.
