Larry "Doc" Cawley

Larry Eugene Cawley (Doc) age 88 of Boones Mill passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017. Doc was the former owner and Operator of Doc’s Texaco in Boones Mill where he retired after years of faithful and dedicated service and was also a U. S. Army Veteran. He was born on October 8, 1928 a son of the late Larry Raymond and Lena May Cawley. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Turner Cawley; and his brother, Paul Cawley. He is survived by his loving daughter, Robin Joe Cawley (Berkley Whitlock); sister-in-law, Peggy Law (Bill); nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be considered to Franklin County Humane Society, Planned Pethood 18401 Virgil H Goode Hwy, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 or to a charity of choice in Doc’s name. Funeral Services will conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
