Larry J. Mullins, guitar player and singer of Ferrum, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents George Dewey Mullins Sr. and Doris Sink Mullins; brothers Hillman Mullins, Buddy Mullins; and sisters Norma Jean Young, Virginia Chaney. Surviving are sisters Marlene Eames, Kathy Collins, Mary Young (James); brothers Garry Mullins, Pete Mullins (Doris); children Joseph Mullins (Melissa), Carla Adkins (Bradley); grandchildren Dustin Mullins, Tiffany Mullins, Miranda Young, Lindsey Adkins, Cale Adkins; great grandchildren Baylee Ann Mullins, Hunter Grace Mullins, Timothy Lee Mullins, Jesse Arlene Rice, Shawnna Ann Nicole Young, Seleese Angel Faith Young, Clinton Michael Luther Young; special friends Arnie Birch, Jackie Hale; Numerous Nieces & Nephews Memorial services will be conducted from Story Creek Baptist Church 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017.
