Lee Greer

Wayland Leon Greer, known to friends as Lee, of Rocky Mount, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the age of 81 following a brief illness. Lee will be forever remembered by his loving wife and best friend, Jean Walker Greer; his children, Mark Greer and wife Donna, Jeff Greer and wife Deb, and Dewey Greer and wife Tracie, and by Jean’s children, Rhonda Sedovy and husband John, Brad Bernard and wife Kirstin; his grandchildren, Parker Greer, Kim (Aaron) Barker, Jen (Drew) Neyer, Josh Greer, Meghan, Chris and John Ryan Sedovy, Brynn, Blair and Beau Bernard; seven great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Violet Walker. A celebration of Lee’s life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in the Greer Family Cemetery.
