Leonard "Buddy" White, Jr.

"With sadness we say goodbye to my dad Buddy White. We love and miss you terribly. We will miss your laugh most of all"

 Leonard M. White, II " Buddy" age 74 of Callaway, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 16, 2024 Buddy was born January 19, 1950 to the late Leonard White Sr and Ruth G. White. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Janice Paige White.

 Buddy proudly served his country in the US Army. He was an active member of Fairmont Baptist Church, where he served his Lord and his church family in various capacities through the years. His family and friends remember Buddy for his loud and infectious laugh. His "never quit" work ethic and perseverance was displayed in every task he set out to accomplish. Buddy loved farming. The last few years of his life he and Paige fullfiled his lifelong dream and settled down to farm his grandparents home place.

 Surviving are his daughter Rebel Marsh (Harry); son Shaun Wilson; grandchildren Rebecca, Heather and Kim; and extended grandkids Kaitlin and Elizabeth. 

Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday from Fairmont Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Nestor officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
