Lewis Josh booth, 85 of Franklin County, died Sunday, April 30, 2011. He was born on February 27, 1926 in Endicott, a son of the late Lewis Wardie and Susie Holley Boothe. He was also preceded in death by his siters, Alice, Bessie, Cemmie, Viola, Haggie, Ollie, Roxie, Victoria and brothers Daniel, Grant, John, and Herbert. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Surviving are Reba Dillon Boothe, mother of his children; sons, Eddie Boothe , wife Patricia, Randy Boothe, wife Tracey; daughter, Lisa Tilley, husband Rickey, Betty Custer, husband Carey; Grandchildren, James Boothe, wife Carrie, Corey Boothe, wife Tammie, Ryan and Sarah Boothe, Stephanie Milam Harrison, husband Rodney, Bethanie Milam, Davie, wife Denice, Terry, wife Tabitha and Wesley Tilley, Stacey Custer Lilley, husband Tim, Heather Custer Matthews, husband Brett, Brad Custer, wife Nikki, and Jeff Schall; great-grandchildren, Farah, Devin and Kinsley Boothe, Owen and Lane Matthews, Addison, Davis and Graham Lilley, Eva, and Anna Custer, Collen and Avery Harrison, Nichole and Katlyn Tilley. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011 with Rev. Bud Nichols officiating. Interment will be private in Maple Grove Cemetery. His family will receive friends Tuesday prior to the service beginning at 5:30 p.m. until service time at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, Route 220 at Wirtz Road, Rocky Mount, Virginia.
