Linda Ann Thurman

Linda A. Thurman, age 72 of Glade Hill went to be with the Lord, Sunday October 5, 2014. She was born May 28, 1942 to the late Hubert and Eva Horsley Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two granddaughters Ashley and Shannon Motley; one son-in-law Toney Motley. Linda was a very kind and loving person. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and was an awesome cook. Linda also was a dietician for Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital for over 30 years. Surviving is her loving husband of 56 years Swanson Thurman; daughter Regina Motley; sons Kim Thurman and wife Cindy and Randy Thurman; grandchildren Tiffany Thurman, Jack Thurman, Lindsey Thurman, Angela Motley and Heather Thurman; great grandchildren Morgan Motley and Addison Lambert. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glade Hill Rescue Squad.
