Lisle Junior Rathburn

Lisle Junior Rathburn age 91 of Catawba and formerly of Clarksville, GA and Sarasota, FL passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 doing what he loved to do, being outdoors and on his tractor. Lisle was born August 4, 1927 a son of the late Lisle Eddie and Goldie Irene Wood Rathburn. He was a Veteran having served in the U. S. Coast Guard and retired as a residential building contractor. He is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 72 years, Ruth Hamilton Rathburn; son, Larry V. Rathburn (Bonnie), Catawba; daughter, Sharon Folds (Ron), Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends. Services for Mr. Rathburn will be private. The family is being served by Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 VA Market Place Drive (Route 220 @ Wirtz Road) Rocky Mount.
