Lois Cooke

Lois T. Cooke, age 71, of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014. She was born the daughter of the late Travis and Carrie Rakes Thomason. She was also preceded in death by her Husband, John G. Cooke and a Brother Jimmy Thomason. Lois was a member of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church and was retired from DuPont. She was a very loving and caring person who would do anything for anyone. Lois is survived by her Daughter Lisa Adams and Husband David; Granddaughter, Hilary Marie Adams; Brother, Travis Russell Thomason (Judy); and Sister, Ann Holley; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted from Sandy Ridge Baptist Church 11:00 a.m. Friday with Pastor Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
