Lora Quinn Ferguson of Ferrum went to be in the arms of Jesus on Monday, December 21, 2020. Lora was born a daughter of the late Artis and Lomie Moore on February 3, 1938. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amanda Quinn Davis. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, James Ed Ferguson; daughter, Linda Quinn Maydian (Bill), son, Butch Quinn (Janet); stepchildren, Deborah Lovelace (Phillip); Susan Foley and Judy Ferguson; grandchildren, Cory Greer (Bambi), Josh Greer, Ryan Greer, Jessica Pendleton (Andy), Emily Farris (Justin), Donald Quinn (Christy), Jason Lovelace (Rachael), Jazmine Gregory (Jim); great-grandchild, River Maddox Greer who she adored; brother, Albert Moore (Louise). Lora loved shopping and traveling. She and her husband loved to travel when she was able. She especially loved the beach and the mountain trips. Lora is now on the vacation of a lifetime. The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Franklin Healthcare and Carilion Hospice for their loving care. A private graveside funeral service will be conducted at Franklin Memorial Park on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 with Pastor Billy Shively officiating. Arrangements by Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, Rt. 220, Rocky Mount.
