Louise Meade Belcher

Louise Meade Belcher, age 80 of Rocky Mount died Saturday, September 11, 2010 in a Roanoke hospital. She was retired from I. E. DuPont. Born September 29, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Lee and Mary Bernard Meade. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Annie Marie Flora; and two brothers Alfred and Robert Meade. Left to cherish her memory are her nephew, Charles D. Wright, Sr. and wife Ann; great-nephews, Tim Melanie Wright, Danny and Linda Wright, Robert and Tonia Wright, Steve and Sonia Wright; three great-great-nephews; two great-great-nieces; a number of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2010 with the Rev. Michael Lawhorn officiating. Interment will follow in Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
