Lucille Brown Dent

July 29, 1924 - October 30, 2014 Lucille Brown Dent, formerly of Rocky Mount, Virginia, passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Potomac Falls Health and Rehab in Sterling, Virginia. Lucille was a longtime and active member of Furnace Creek Baptist Church in Rocky Mount where she enjoyed praising God by singing in the choir. She was the beloved wife of the late Charlie Willis Dent, and was also preceded in death by brothers, Clay, Stuart, Wilbur, and Winfred Brown; and sisters, Thelma B. English and Bea B. English. Mrs. Dent is survived by her son, Dr. Charles Daniel Dent and his wife, Susan Simpson Dent of Oakton, Virginia; her granddaughter, Laura Dent Buice and her husband, Erik Lee Buice; two great-granddaughters, all of Fairfax, Virginia. She is also survived by her brother, Henry Brown of Baltimore, Maryland; and sister, Inez B. Radosevich of Orlando, Florida; and a host of nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends on Friday, November 7, 2014 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with her service being conducted at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
