Lula Young Scott

Lula Catherine Lee Young Scott, age 93 of Rocky Mount, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012. She was born July 5, 1918, a daughter of the late Clarence and Bessie Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. Surviving is her son Roger Scott, six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister Peggy Lacks and husband Sherman; brother Russell Young and wife Ruth; many nieces and nephews and friends. Graveside services will be conducted from St. James United Methodist Church Cemetery in Ferrum 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Liz Lazenby officiating.
