Mack Oscar Gentry

Mack O. Gentry, Jr., 49, of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017. He was born September 22, 1967. He is survived by his wife, Kimberlee D. Gentry; daughter, Kelsey Lynn Hodges (Jon); mother, Joanne Richardson Gentry; father, Mack O. Gentry, Sr. (Ginger); sister, Betty Jo Gentry DeHart (Dean); grandmother, Eunice Coon; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Mack loved his Steelers, cruising on his Harley, listening to the blues and finding a little hole in the wall place to shoot pool. A memorial service to honor his life will be held at his home church, Hodgesville Pentecostal Holiness Church (1111 Old Franklin Turnpike, Rocky Mount, VA 24151) and presided over by his pastor Dr. Jackie Spence on Saturday, August 19, at 2:00 P.M. Family will receive visitors beginning at 1:00 P.M. A private interment will be held at a later date.
