Margaret Louise Perdue

This evening my mom said goodbye to the cares and problems of this world. She is at peace and is now with my dad, who I know is greeting her with open arms. Margaret was a member of Glade Hill Baptist Church. She was born a daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Nellie Eva Cundiff Perdue. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Harvie Perdue. Surviving are her daughter, Connie Perdue and good friend David Peters; brothers, Russell Perdue (Janice), and Thomas Everette Perdue; sisters-in-law, Sis Carter, Mollie Holland, and Hazel Zeigler; a special cousin, Georgie Brown; numerous nieces and nephews; and her little dog Maggie. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Rt. 220 Chapel) 2 pm Wednesday with Rev. David Long officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday.
