Marion Doug Isenhour

Marion “Doug” Isenhour, age 54 of Rocky Mount, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Doug was born June 20, 1957 to the late Hubert Eugene Isenhour and Mildred Allman Isenhour. He attended Franklin Heights Baptist Church and graduated from Patrick Henry Community College with two Associates Degrees in Motorsports Engine Technology and Motorsports Fabrication Setup Technology. Doug loved life and spending time with people, especially his family. His true passion in life, however, was motorsports. He is survived by his wife Cecile M. Isenhour; brothers & sisters Robert E. Isenhour, Tamera L. Keener, Daphne L. Isenhour, Richard D. Isenhour, Dwight D. Isenhour; 14 nieces & nephews; many extended family and friends. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Cecile for medical expenses. Funeral services will be conducted from Franklin Heights Baptist Church 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23 with Dr. Stan Parris officiating. Interment will follow in the Isenhour Family Cemetery.
