Marlene Mullins Eames

Marlene Mullins Eames, age 79 of Rocky Mount, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 29, 2018. She was born May 12, 1939 to the late George Dewey Mullins and Doris Sink Mullins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Eames; brothers and sisters George Dewey "Pete" Mullins, Virginia Mullins Chaney, Norma Jean Mullins Young, Buddy Mullins, Larry Joe Mullins and Hillman Mullins. Marlene was a Godly woman who attended Story Creek Baptist Church where she was an active member until her health began to fail. Surviving are her children, Lorrie Ellis (Darryl), and Wes Eames (Diane); her grandchildren, Rachael Ellis, Sarah Ellis, Jake Eames, Caroline Eames and Heidi Eames; brother Gary Mullins; sisters Mary Mullins Young (James), and Cathy Mullins Collins. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Town Chapel) 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Ronnie Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Story Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the funeral beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Wes and Diane, 1483 Fork Mtn.
