Mary Elizabeth Cundiff

Mary Elizabeth Cundiff, age 85 of Boones Mill went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 24, 2011. She was born February 2, 1926 a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Foley and was also preceded in death by her husband, George Cabell Cundiff, Sr.; a daughter, Patsy A. Cundiff; brothers, Elmer, Joe and Benny Foley; and a sister, Elsie Cundiff. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, George and Sue Cundiff, Michael and Tammy Cundiff; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Larry Nichols, Virginia and Matt Spradlin, Rose and Jay Chaney, Bonnie and Alan Barnett, Sherry and Wayne Patterson; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, C. Thomas Foley, Esther Simmons, John Foley, Bobby Foley, Lawrence Foley, Lester Foley, Lilly Schoon and Margaret Lattimore; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Boones Mill Baptist Church, 2 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2011 with Dr. Richard D. Harrell, Sr. and Rev. James H. Steele officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Boones Mill Baptist Church Family Life Center, P.O. Box 236, Boones Mill, Virginia 24065. Special thanks to the management and staff of Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital ICU for their care and concern for Elizabeth Cundiff.
