Mary Jane Jones

Mary Jane Jones age 83 of Rocky Mount passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 in Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 27, 1936 a daughter of the late Jim Henery and Florence Hairfield Hodges and was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas “Junebug” Jones; two children, Roger Alan Jones and Wanda Darlene Jones; sisters, Lou Frasier and Shirley Hodges; other family members. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Bailey (J. R.); son, Ray Jones; grandchildren, Dallas Bailey (Christy), Chris Bailey (Cheryl), Ray Jones, Jr., Roger Jones, Sam Rineholt and Jennifer Rineholt; great-grandchildren, Caleb Bailey, Maddie Bailey and Annabelle Jones; sister, Joyce Jones. She is also survived by other family members and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to Henry Fork Church of the Brethren, 130 Doe Run Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren with Pastors Ronald Coleman and Dallas Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 a,n, at the church.
