Mary Elizabeth Prillaman

Mary Elizabeth Prillaman age 89 of Henry passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017. She was born on November 4, 1927 a daughter of the late Sam and Daisy Prillaman Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin A. Prillaman; a son, Melvin Leon Prillaman; her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Prillaman Cannaday; and her brother, Houston Jones. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Sammy Prillaman (Mary), Philip Prillaman (Sandra) and Tim Prillaman (Joan); eight grandchildren, Darin Prillaman, Daniel Prillaman, Scott Prillaman, Marty Prillaman, Billy Prillaman, Bobby Prillaman, Corey Prillaman, Sr. and Mary Ann Cannaday; 10 great-grandchildren, Samantha Prillaman, Serena Prillaman, Landen Prillaman, Lucas Prillaman, Hannah Prillaman, Billie Joe Prillaman, Leon Prillaman, Matthew Prillaman, Chase Prillaman, Corey Prillaman, Jr. and Brittany Wood; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Colleen Ingram. In lieu of flowers and food, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Henry Community Center c/o Gail Goad, Henry, VA 24102. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 3, 2017 with Pastor Ron Peale officiating. Interment will follow in Henry Memorial Park.
