Mary Patricia "Pat" Siler

Mary Patricia "Pat" Siler, age 76 of Callaway, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020. Pat was born April 3, 1943 to the late Paul William Anderson and Mary Patricia Anderson. She was a very active member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. Pat loved to travel also help organize many Navy reunions. Most of all, she had a passion for her Pugs. Pat was a member of the Pug Reserve of NC and along side her husband Bill, they rescued 31 dogs. Surviving is her husband of 56 years James W. "Bill" Siler, Jr.; son James W. Siler, III (Lori) of Rancho Mirage, CA; daughters Linda Kathleen Siler of Callaway; Mary Catherine Siler of Mashpee, MA; granddaughter Shain Basch; sisters Karen Clark and Priscilla Flynn, both of Randolph, MA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 3140 Chaparral Dr #106, Roanoke, VA 24018 or to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation Research Foundation, P.O. Box 414238. Boston, MA 02241-4238. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Callaway Community Cemetery with Father Carlos Lerma, Rev. Danielle Goad and Pastor Corey Meador officiating. Arrangements are by Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, Rt. 220, Rocky Mount.
