Mason G Leedy, 70, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019, after suffering a fall.
Mason was a retired NS Railroad conductor with 40 years of service. He was a 32 Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He loved His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his family, hunting (although he never could shoot Bambi), riding his Harley (he was a member of Bikers for Christ), collecting HO trains and his faithful travel buddies, J.J. and Minnie.
Mason is preceded in death by his parents, William Graham Leedy and Elizabeth George Leedy. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Leedy: his sons and families: Michael and Kim Leedy, Bill and Shana Leedy, James and Missy Leedy. Grandchildren: Joshua Michael Leedy, Emma Marie Leedy, Isaac Mason Leedy, James Dylan Leedy, Kayla MacKenzie Hoke, Graham Thomas Leedy and one very special Great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose Hoke (Izzy). Also sisters and their families: Martha and Buford Nichols, and Nancy and John Hicks. He was papaw and dad to many “adopted” kids.
Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Likens officiating. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
