Michael Kevin Jenkins

Michael Jenkins, age 50, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018. He was born on April 9, 1967 the son of Michael E. and Joyce S. Jenkins. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Ethel Scott and Ellis and Teresa Jenkins. Michael was a big time jokester with his favorite time of year being April Fools Day. He loved music, singing karaoke, fishing and had a special love for his cats. He is survived by his Mother, Joyce S. Jenkins; Daughter, Gabrielle Hurt; Sisters and Brother-in-laws, Lynne Foster (Mark) and Sharon Jamison (Chris); Nieces, Kayla Santrock, Lindsey Jamison, and Berkeley Foster; Nephew, Shawn Jamison and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins including a special Aunt Francine Moore and his cats. A Graveside Service will be held at Franklin Memorial Park, 11:00 AM Saturday, January 27, 2018 with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. There will be no visitation.
