Morris Dunbar

Morris Preston "Pops"Dunbar, age 77 of Rocky Mount, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 5, 2010. He was born August 11, 1932 a son of the late Ernest and Emma Dunbar. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Martha "Big Nanny" Dunbar; son Jeff Dunbar; daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbie and Roger Neice and Jody and Tim Hall; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Niday; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Friday with Rev. David Long officiating. Interment will follow in Glade Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. His family will be receiving friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
