Nancy Stone Ledbetter

Nancy Stone Ledbetter, age 67, of Ferrum, VA passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 6, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born October 13, 1948 the daughter of the late James C. Stone, Sr. and Wilda Foster Stone. “Katie” as most of us knew her was a genuine lady who was a treasure to us all. She always took care of others before herself. Surviving are her husband of almost 50 years, Morris B. Ledbetter; her daughter and son-in-law, Suzette and Spike Young; her son and daughter-in-law, Morris W. (Little Man) and Sonya Ledbetter; her three grandchildren who were the pride and joy of her life, Alyson Perdue, James Perdue, Haley Ledbetter; her siblings, Jimmy and Linda Stone, Julia and J. T. Stone, Susan and Arnold Brown, Margaret and Mac Torrence, Marian and Robert Meeks, Mavis Woods; brother-in-law and his wife, Victor and Alice Ledbetter; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to either Ferrum Fire Department, P. O.
