Neil Hamilton

Neil H. Smallwood, Sr., age 85 of Rocky Mount died Sunday, September 5, 2010. He was born December 4, 1924 a son of the late William Hamilton and Dolly Garst Smallwood and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother; two sisters. Surviving are his wife Dora Smallwood; son Neil H. Junior Smallwood, Jr. and Faye Hardison; daughter and son-in-law, Suzy and David Quinn; brother, David; sisters Elsie, Elon and Josephine; number of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2010 with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 140 Floyd Avenue, Rocky Mount.
