Norris Patterson

William "Norris" Patterson, age 87 of Snow Creek passed away at home on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 11:07 a.m. He was a retired Tobacco Farmer and a U. S. Air Force Veteran who loved to play his banjo, fiddle, and working in his garden. Mr. Patterson was born on November 7, 1934 a son of the late Buster and Eva Belcher Patterson. He was also preceded in death by his former wife and mother of his children, Jeraldine R. Patterson; two sons, Randall Patterson and Barry Patterson; two grandsons, Sgt. Timothy Scott Patterson and Phillip Jeffrey McDaniel; brothers, Buddy Patterson and Ray Patterson; sisters, Jean Gregory and Agnes Cooper. He is survived by his children, Timmy Patterson (Estella), Kay Jennings (Johnny), Lisa Clark (Lawrence), and Lori Baker (Brad). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. A special thanks to a family friend, Ryan and Carilion Hospice of Franklin County. Funeral services will conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Alverson officiating. Interment will follow with military honors in Mountain View Memorial Park.
