Patsy Cundiff “Pat” Strike, age 63 of Boones Mill, went home to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, February 2, 2014. She loved her family and horses along with her other animals and was known throughout the Banking Business in Franklin County and Roanoke with 44 years of dedicated and devoted service to her customers. Pat was a member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church. She was a people person --- inside and out! She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Belva Smith Cundiff and was also preceded in death by her Brother-In-Law, Charlie Brown; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray L. and Myrtle Strike; Sister-In-Law, Ada Catherine Spurrier; She is survived by her husband Eldon R. Strike; Children, Jeff Meeks, Rocky Mount, Brent and Nichole Strike of Raleigh, NC, Kim and Jodie Cobb of Greenville, NC; Her Grandchildren, Logan and Abby Meeks and their Mother, Kristina Meeks, Chase & Ty Cobb; Brothers-in-law, Carl Strike (Esther), Lloyd Strike (Mary Ruth); Sister-in-law Elsie Martin (Keith); Brother-in-Law, Marlin Spurrier; Sisters Dixie Brown of Penhook, Mary James (Ron) of Salem; Nephews, David and Harold Brown and Collin James; Great-Nephew Hunter Brown; Long time school friend, Brenda Gibson and husband Jesse of Salem; and many other family members and friends. A special thanks to Franklin Heights Baptist Church and her Sunday School Class for their continued love and support throughout her illness. Funeral Services will be conducted from Franklin Heights Baptist Church 10:00 AM Thursday, February 6, 2014 with Dr. Stan Parris, Rev. J. Larry Holland and Rev. David Long Officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park.
