Patricia Katherine Tyler

Patricia Katherine Tyler, age 87 of Hardy passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011. She was born March 14, 1924 to the late Fred and Heddie Boyce. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Carl J. Tyler who says, Shes the best thing thats ever happen to me. She is also survived by her daughter Susan Tyler, She was a wonderful mother and my best friend and I will miss her very much. Patricia had many friends and loved to travel. She was a volunteer at the library in North Brunswick, NJ and also worked as a secretary for the North Brunswick Democrats. Patricia also loved to play the game of Mahjong, which she taught in New Jersey and Smith Mountain Lake for years. Her family has requested no flowers but those wishing to make memorials in her memory may do so to the Moneta Library or to the Alzheimers Association. A memorial service will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 1:00 p.m. Thursday with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating.
