Quiley Ruth Overfelt Hartman

Quiley Overfelt Hartman, age 75, of Boones Mill went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 13, 2013. She was a member of Boones Mill United Methodist Church and will be missed by all. Quiley was born April 26, 1938, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Ocie Overfelt. She was also preceded in death by Brothers, Steve Overfelt, and Artley Overfelt; Son, Lewis Hartman; and Granddaughter, Megan Hall. She lived a wonderful life with her husband of 55 years, Lewis Carlton Hartman. They have one Daughter and Son-in-Law, Dana and Steven Lauth, one Son and Daughter-in-Law, Todd and Linda Hartman; two Granddaughters, Tasha Wray (Brian), Brandy Black (Larry); very special Great-Grandson, Elijah Hall and five other Great-Grandchildren, Mariah Quintrell, Jonathan and Matthew Hale, Brianna Gleason and Alexis Motley; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Sue Overfelt, L.C. and Debbie Overfelt and Pat Overfelt; Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Dee and Emil Kalmbach, Rachel and Tom Gokee; Special Cousin, Eugene and Hazel Overfelt; Special Niece, Dana Moran; and numerous special nieces and nephews; and Special Friend, Janie Burgess. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 with Minister Mickey Witcher and Rev. Robert Garner officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Quiley Hartman Fund c/o Carter Bank and Trust, 50 Boones Mill Road, Boones Mill, Virginia 24065 to help with family expenses. Her family will be receiving friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, Route 220 at Wirtz Road, Rocky Mount.
