Reba Verna Booth

Reba Verna Booth, age 82 of Rocky Mount passed away December 21, 2013. She was preceded in death by Lewis Josh Booth, the father of her children; her parents Eugenie Perdue Dillon and Joseph Dillon; also her siblings Paul, Jerry, Lloyd Jr., Don Dillon, Vera Dillon Hodges. Surviving are her children, Eddie Booth & wife Patricia, Randy Booth & wife Tracey, Lisa Booth Tilley & husband Rickey, Betty Booth Custer & husband Carey: sisters Shirley Spencer and Joyce Gibson; 13 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren. Reba worked until the age of 80. She enjoyed having many friends. She loved people, traveling and living life to the fullest. The family would like to thank Carilion Hospice of Franklin County for their loving care and service. “Our mother will be having Christmas in Heaven.”In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made to your local chapter of the American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Monday with Rev. Eugene Chitwood officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Monday prior to the service beginning at 12 pm until service time at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 140 Floyd Ave., Rocky Mount, Virginia
