REVA E. GOODE Reva E. Goode, age 89, of Rocky Mount, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Claude & Dewey S. Edwards. Mrs. Goode is survived by her husband, K. Edward Goode; 2 daughters, Sheree P. Whitlock, Rustburg, VA & Lisa E. Whitlock, Rocky Mount, VA; sister, Deniece Burnette (Paul); nephew Wes Burnette (Melanie); great-nephew, Matt Burnette; one step-son, K. Edward Goode, Jr. and step-granddaughter, Kari Goode; sisters-in-law, Mildred Goode, Ann Allison (Bob), Barbara Stoner. The family would like to express their appreciation to Bonnie Harlow, her staff, and Hospice for their dedicated care for the past 30 months. Funeral Services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel, 11:00 AM Saturday, June 13, 2015 with Rev. Larry Holland & Rev. Pat Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends Saturday, from 9:30 AM until service time.
