Richard Douglas Agee

Richard Douglas Agee, age 72 of Glade Hill passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at his home. Richard retired from Ronile with 46 years of service and was a Honorary Alumni of Delta Chi Fraternity. He enjoyed his friends and neighbors within his community. He was born March 7, 1942 a son of the late Lewis Melvin and Minnie Guilliams Agee. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Agee Dillon. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Ann Marie Brown Agee; his sons, Scott and Meranda Agee and Derek and Sherrie Agee; he was “Popi” to his grandchildren, Sallie Kate Agee, Abigail Katherine Agee, Cayden Jayce Agee and Alex Greene; brother, Wilton Agee (Faye); sisters, Charlotte Davis and Betty Lou Walters; special friends, Merriman and Amanda Brooks, Beth and James, Amber and Andrew, and many other family members and numerous friends. Due to possible inclement weather funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Home Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 with Rev. David R. Long officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
