Richard W. Lawrence, 77, of Penhook, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 16, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, James L. and Gladys R. Lawrence; half-brother, Bill Lawrence; half- sister, Gladys Walker; two sisters, Shelby J. Nance, Patricia Lawrence. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Dianne B. Lawrence; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Buster Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Nicole Lawrence; two grandsons, Brian and Jason Smith; a very special great granddaughter, Sidney M. Smith; three brothers, Lloyd Lawrence (Frances), Charles Lawrence (Frankie), Edward Lawrence (Sheree); three sisters, Virginia E. Lawrence, Dorothy Walker (Vernon), Brenda George (Leland); one special friend, Joe Ferguson. There will be no services at his wish.
