Robert Earl Andrews

Robert Earl Andrews, Jr., age 40 of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010. He was born May 6, 1970 and has served as Plant Manager of PlyGem in Rocky Mount for the past couple of years. Bob was a loving and devoted husband, father and son who served God and his church faithfully. He received his Masters Degree from Seminary of the East and graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. To sum up his life in a few words, Bob was truly a man who loved God. A special thanks to the Bedford Trauma Team, the entire staff of Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and their church families for the outpouring show of love, care and support. He is survived by his loving wife, Tanya Andrews; his daughters, Paige C. Andrews and Cameron R. (Kami) Andrews; parents, Robert E., Sr. and Jean N. Andrews; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy A. and Robert J. Quinn, Carol and Paul Hauser. He is also survived by other family members and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Franklin Heights Baptist Church 1 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2010 with Pastor Steve Hall and Rev. Chris Mucci officiating. At the request of the family, the burial will be private. There will be no visitation. The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made to the Bedford, Moneta, or Rocky Mount Fire and Rescue Units.
