Robert "Bob" James Lewis, Sr.

Robert "Bob" James Lewis, Sr. age 76 of Wirtz passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024 at his home. He was born on February 2, 1948 a son of the late Elmer and Ethel Johnson Lewis. He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Tina A. Lewis, and Dawn M. Lewis; and two grandsons, Nick Lewis, and Moses Lewis.

Bob was a faithful, supportive and loving husband, father, grandfather and an even bigger prayer warrior. He was a devoted Christian and servant of his Lord and Savior. He worked in Private security throughout his career and never met a stranger. He had a real passion for hunting, fishing, wood working, and scrapping. He will be missed and always loved by all who knew him.

Bob is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Linda L. Lewis; his children, Constance Lewis, Robert J. Lewis, Jr., Michael L. Lewis (Jen), and Dale Lewis (Heather); his grandchildren, Christopher Gonzales, Erika Shivley, Amanda Creech, Becca Rumberg, Brandon Gonzales, Meagan Moyer, Hannah Lewis, Keirstin Lewis, Kaitlinn Clark, Kylie Miller, Kelsie Lewis, Ashley Yopp, Alissa Allen, Alex Harvey, Amber Martin, Jayden Harvey, Annalea Lewis, and Joshua Cunningham; 18 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by special friends, Alden Wilcox, and Dave and Brenda Shaut; other family and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with The Rev. Terrell Shaddix officiating. Military honors will be presented for his service in the U.S. Navy. The Lewis Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 PM at the funeral home.
