Robert "Bob" Leroy Penrod

Robert "Bob" Leroy Penrod, 78, of Glade Hill, VA passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021. He was born August 15, 1943 the son of the late Lawrence D. Penrod and Olive Cooper Penrod. He was a Navel Flight Officer in the U.S. Navy and work for many years in the real estate business. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed time on his boat and was an avid fisherman. Another hobby was remodeling homes. Surviving are his wife, Doris Penrod; daughter, Kristina Kelley; two step sons, Michael Martin (Bethany), Randy Martin (Joy); three grandchildren, Katherine Kelley, Elizabeth Kelley, Nathan Kelley; six step grandchildren, Ethan Martin, Kaleigh Martin, Ty Martin, Grey Martin, Eden Martin, Brighton Martin; three great grandchildren, Harper Kelley, Chloe Kelley, Jackson Robert Kelley. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Sunday at Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Parris officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
