Robert C. Chandler

Robert Clarence “Bob” Chandler, Jr., age 86, of Glade Hill passed away Monday, June 18, 2012. He was born May 1, 1926 the son of the late Robert C. Chandler, Sr. and Doris McCarley Chandler. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving in WWII. His wife of 60 years, Hazel Gertrude “Gert” Fancher Chandler, preceded him in death. Surviving are one son, Robert C. “Bubba” Chandler, III and his wife, Junellen of Hardy; one daughter, Robin Chandler Pendry and husband, Kelly of Glade Hill; two grandsons, Matt Chandler, Mitch Chandler; two half sisters, Sara Akins, Harriet McCombs; half brother, Jim Rickman. Bob’s family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, P. O.
