Robert David

Robert M. David, age 50 of Rocky Mount, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013. Robert was fondly known to many as “Mountain Man” and “Molly Hatchett” because of his love for working outdoors. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joe & Mary Elizabeth Perdue, Coleman & Eva B. David; sister Donna Young; and brother Thomas Perdue. Surviving is his mother Juanita David; brother Bobby Wayne David (Chelsea Hall); sister Joyce “Suzie” Jones (Roger Wimmer); two nieces Carrie Boothe and Kasey Carter; nephew Travis David; great niece Kinsley Marie Boothe; great nephew James Devon Boothe; special friends Johnny Bowman, Chad Scott and Hub McBride. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Franklin County SPCA. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 7:00 p.m. Tuesday with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating.
