Robert E. Nichols

Robert Earnest Nichols, of Rocky Mount, left this earth to be reunited with his son and loved ones on June 14, 2018. He was 66 years of age. He was the 6th child of 9 children born to the late James Ezra Nichols and Myrtle Clark Nichols on July 14, 1951. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son, Kevin Thomas Nichols and a sister, Bertia Bowles. He is survived by his loving fiancee, Donna Adkins. Also surviving are his son, Jason(April) Nichols and a step daughter, Jennifer(Chris) Earles. His brothers, Todd, Wayne and Jerry Nichols and his sister's, Hallie "Snookie" Nichols, Nellie(Mike) Abbott, Lorraine Nichols and Joanie Parcell. His loving grandchildren, Issac and Kennedy Nichols and Timothy and Dylan Earles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 6 to 8pm at the Conner Bowman Funeral Home (Rt 220 Chapel). He will be laid to rest in Franklin Memorial park with a graveside service, officiated by Pastor Ronald Coleman, on Monday, June 18 at 11am.
