Rod Hodge

Rod Hodge, age 51 of N. Chesterfield and Roanoke, went to be with the Lord Monday, July 13, 2015. He was a great man of integrity; to know him was to love him. First of all, he was a loving father, husband, son and friend. Rod was the owner of Dark Sun Surplus. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Lori; his son, Dillon Jeremiah; stepchildren, Marissa and Dalton; parents, Rodney and Sandra Hodge; brothers, Chris and Kenneth (Linda); sister Kym; nephews, Steven, Jimmy and Kyle, Kenneth and Eric; and his good friend, Daniel Carter. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Bliley’s Chippenham, 6900 Hull St. Rd., where a funeral ceremony will follow at 7 p.m. A funeral ceremony will also be held at Monte Vista Church of the Brethren, 25 Wades Gap Rd., Callaway, VA 24067 at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2015.
