Ronnie E. Ayers

Ronnie E. Ayers, age 67 of Wirtz passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on June 27, 1949 a son of the late Boyd and Elsie Ayers. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruby A. Perdue (John); brothers, Dewey Ayers, Boyd, Jr. “Butch” Ayers (Shelby). Ronnie is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Joyce amd Eddie Hale; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Darlene Ayers, Donnie and Carolyn Ayers; several nieces, nephews and several great-nieces and great nephews; his beloved pet, “Little Girl”. Ronnie had requested prior to his death that he wanted to be cremated and did not want any type of service or visitation. The family has requested that food be omitted.
