Rose Ella Nester, 71, of Rocky Mount, VA passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017. She was born June 22, 1946 the daughter of the late Calvin Coolidge Nester, Sr. and Sarah Ellen Horton Nester. She was a longtime employee of the Department of Aging for Franklin County. Surviving are daughter, Sandy Via; three sons, Chad Boyd, Ricky Stegall, Todd Boyd; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; two brothers, Roger Nester, Henry Nester. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 4, at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville, VA.
