Roxie Sink

Roxie Hall Sink, age 94 of Rocky Mount passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012 in Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital. She was born March 24, 1917 and was preceded in death by her husband, Cephas Monroe Sink; daughters Iva Hammock and Linda Ball; granddaughter, Cindy Perdue; brothers Dexter Hall and Noel Hall; and a sister Kathleen Daughtry. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy (Becky) Sink of Roanoke, Kenny Sink of Rocky Mount; daughter Shirley (Cecil) Huston of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Susan Galliher, Rick Hammock, Johnny Hammock, Mike Sink, Lisa Childress, Mitzi Patterson, Donald Huston, Todd Ball, Angelia Stanley, Phyllis Turner and Beth Sink. She is also survived by her sisters, Edna Crunkleton, Vergie Breeden and Christy Witt; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be private.
