Roy "Ted" Trexler

Roy Allen “Ted” Trexler Senior, age 87 of Boones Mill, VA passed away Thursday February 26, 2015. Mr. Trexler is survived by his wife, Linda Trexler, his sons, R. A. Trexler Jr. of North Fort Myers, FL, John Trexler of Carson, VA, Jimmy Trexler of Wirtz, Va, and a daughter, Theresa Trexler of Wirtz, Va. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren including his beloved grandson Jesse. Mr. Trexler was proud to serve as an inaugural member of Franklin County Sheriff’s Citizens Academy and an active volunteer of the Franklin County Citizen on Patrol. Mr. Trexler was an avid hunter, fishermen, accomplished engineer, a good neighbor and a person who held and appreciated many long standing friendships. As a member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church he came to appreciate and accept the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. Viewing and services will be held at Conner Bowman Funeral Home at Marketplace Drive Rocky Mount on Monday, March 2nd. Viewing will be held at 6:00 pm followed by a memorial service from 7 to 8:00pm.
